To reap the full benefits of your sunscreen, you should be using one teaspoon to cover your face. If you are only using a thin layer, an SPF 50 isn’t really a 50. The greater the SPF, the more likely a sunscreen will be heavy, greasy and whitening on the skin, making compliance a problem. Using Harsh Exfoliants-not for Beautiful skin

“Natural” isn’t necessarily better. Physical exfoliants like ground walnut shells and apricot pits that have gained popularity in cleansers are best avoided. Their sharp, jagged edges can cause micro-tears in the skin, opening the door for irritants and infectious agents to enter the skin. If you are looking for a grainy, exfoliating cleanser, opt for a product containing small, round and uniform particles like dimethicone or polyethylene beads. MYTH: NO PAIN/NO GAIN GET FLAWLESS SKIN

Well, yes and no. There are some in-office exfoliation procedures like chemical peels, micro-dermabrasion and lasers that yield excellent results but may require several days recovery time.
